As the main party of engineers and scientists arrive mid-March 1948 to the Enewetak Atolls islands in the Pacific Ocean, the final installations and checks for Operation Sandstone are done. Workers are fed heartily, and are able to occasionally participate in recreational activities and attend religious services.
